Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are sold by the store on your phone. On iPhone or iPad, cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). On Android, cancel anytime in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Is there a free trial?
Pro and Elite, monthly and yearly, include a 7-day free trial when the store offer on your device says so. The store shows the trial before you confirm. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. ChefYield is free to start, so you can try costing plates before you pick a paid plan.
How much are Pro and Elite?
Pro is $39.99/month or $399/year. Elite is $129/month or $1,290/year. Prices are in US dollars; the store shows the price for your country before you confirm. See all plans.
What is the founding-member offer?
Founding members get a personal, single-use code for 30 days free on ChefYield Pro or Elite on Google Play: 100 codes per plan, sent by email when you claim one on the Early access page. App Store coming soon. It is not a lifetime discount. It does not apply to Elite + POS. Details.
Who handles refunds?
The store you bought from: Apple for iPhone and iPad, Google Play for Android.
I use spreadsheets today. Is switching hard?
No. You can scan a menu or invoice to get started, then add your recipes. Keep your spreadsheet open while you move over. Our free food cost calculator and ChefYield vs spreadsheets page show the difference.
Can I pay on the website?
No. Subscriptions are bought inside the app through the App Store or Google Play.
